Ground Appointed Referees

Ground appointed referees should go onto the field with a RED and YELLOW card, and pen and paper. If there are any cards given, the Referee should note the time of the incident, (i.e 20th minute etc), the player/s involved, and any other information on their note pad, and then continue the game.

At the end of the game a report must be completed via the Ground Control Room. The “Caution Report” is for yellow cards, and “Send-Off Report” for red cards. Referees will write as much information as required to explain the incident and reason for send-offs. The details are also noted on the Match Card.

A player who has been sent-off must also surrender their ID CARD to the Committee Member or Ground Control. The reports and ID cards are then sent to the Association with the Match Cards in the afternoon.
