Redbacks Takeover Seymour Shaw // Saturday night was something special.
A huge group of our MiniRoos from U6 through to U10 headed down to Seymour Shaw Stadium, stepping out as mascots and lighting up the pitch during half time mini games.
For many of these kids, it was their first time walking out onto a stadium field. Big lights, big crowd, big smiles. The kind of moments they’ll remember for a long time.
From the tunnel walk to chasing the ball at half time, our MiniRoos didn’t miss a beat. Full energy, full excitement, just pure love for the game.
Off the pitch, Redbacks showed up in numbers. Families, friends, teammates all packing the stands in red and black, creating a proper club atmosphere and getting behind the night.
We also got to witness a dominant performance from the Sutherland Sharks, running out 3–0 winners over Manly United. A great example for our young players to see the game played at that level.
Massive thank you to Sutherland Sharks FC for having us and giving our kids this opportunity. Experiences like this go a long way in building confidence, connection and love for football.
Core memories created.
